Privacy
This is a short, plain-language summary of what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you request a mockup, we receive what you type into the form (your name, business name, type of business, the plan you picked, your phone or email, any link and your message), plus the approximate city and country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing.
How we use it
Only to make your mockup, reply to you and, if you hire us, build and support your site. We won't add you to a mailing list.
Who handles it
Requests are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. When a request arrives, a copy of your name, contact details and message is sent to our phone as a notification through ntfy.sh. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page doesn't contact any other company.
How long we keep it
Requests that don't turn into projects are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive.
Your choices
Ask us at any time to see or delete what we have about you, and we'll do it within a few days. Email carter@cumberlandsites.com.
Mockups
Free previews we make for businesses are unofficial, are labeled "Not the official site", are hidden from search engines, and are taken down on request or after about two weeks.
