Who you'll work with
Local, small and easy to reach.
Cumberland Sites is a small web studio based in Nashville. I'm Carter, and I design, build and look after every site myself. There's no call center, no account manager and no outsourcing. You get one person who knows your business, replies to you directly, and can meet you at your shop.
- Plain agreements. One page that covers price, timeline and what you own, signed before any money changes hands.
- Your name on everything. The domain and accounts are registered to you, so you're never held hostage.
- Real invoices. Pay by card or bank transfer through a proper invoice, with a receipt for your records.

Good questions.
Is the mockup really free?
Yes. We'd rather show you than pitch you. If you don't love it, you walk away and owe nothing.
I already have a Facebook or Instagram page. Why do I need a site?
Social pages are great for posts but bad at the basics: hours, prices, location and booking. People also find you on Google through a website, not through a social feed. We link the two so they work together.
Do I need to buy a domain or hosting?
Hosting is free on every plan, and if you ever leave, we move the site into your own free account. If you don't have a domain (yourname.com), we help you register one in your name for about $10–15 a year, paid at cost. You own it, not us.
Can I make changes after it launches?
Yes. On the Care plan, email us and the change is made within one business day. Without Care, small edits (up to 15 minutes, like a price, hours, a photo or a line of text) are billed at a flat $25 each.
What if I want to leave?
Your domain and content (your name, photos and text) are always yours, on any plan. Upfront plans have no contract: once paid, the site files are yours too, and we hand everything over. Monthly plans run 12 months because they spread out the build cost. To leave early, either pay the difference between the upfront price and what you've paid so far and keep the site, or walk away with your domain and content. No other fees. After month 12, the site files are yours, and Care continues at $29/mo until you cancel by email.
Does it work with my booking or ordering app?
Almost certainly. We link or embed Square, Booksy, Vagaro, Fresha, Toast, Clover, Calendly and most others.
